The Sylvaneth, sentient, humanoid tree spirits, are creations of Alarielle, the goddess of life and nature. Their sole purpose, instilled by the Everqueen, is defending the natural order. Unique among mortal species, they are connected by a "spirit-song" and perceive time cyclically. Their spiritual essence is sowed through soul-seeds, known as lamentiri, which allow them to pass down their knowledge and essences into new generations.
