Tech-thralls Covenant - Forces of the Cult Mechanicum: Warhammer: The Horus Heresy

The Tech-priests of the Mechanicum require a vast pool of expendable labour to undertake their grand industrial operations, and they have perfected the process of mutilating and overriding consciousness to create loyal Tech-thralls. When battle approaches, covenants of Adsecularis Tech-thralls are dispatched to act as cheap cannon fodder, marching forward while unleashing a withering barrage of las-lock fire, even as they are cut down by enemy weapons.

The Cult Mechanicum are a religious organization, sometimes known as the Priesthood of Mars guarding the Imperium's ancient technology, worshipping the Machine God. Their forces are heavily armored, armed with advanced weaponry. Their devotion drives them to maintain the Imperium's war machines, creating devastating weapons, and pursuing their holy quest for lost knowledge.

Warhammer The Horus Heresy pits brother against brother as the Loyalist Space Marine Legions fight to defend the Imperium against the Warmaster’s Traitor forces.
